words and expressions 

Caucasian-----> a person who has white or pale skin : a white person

According to a native speaker in English who is our language partner, you can call 黒人 'black' but you should not call them 'colored.' However, you should not mention it.

racial segregation ------> 人種差別

discrimination --------> (人種の）差別

その一方で-----> on the other hand = on the flip side（より口語的）

be behind -----> 時代、流行などに遅れて

obsess ------> 強迫観念となる、取りつく、（受け身で）頭から離れない

acronym -----> 頭文字

BYOB ----> Bring Your Own Beer

FOMO ------> Fear Of Missing Out  -----> 取り残されることへの恐れ

マナーハウス（Manor House）-------> イギリスの郊外などにある旧貴族の屋敷をそのまま宿泊施設にしたものを指す
